About Me

I am a Chinese Canadian ceramic artist, based in Vancouver, whose practice centers on celebrating and representing Chinese women through sculpture and functional ceramics. Growing up between China and Canada, I became interested in how everyday objects shape identity, carry memory, and create a sense of belonging. Through expressive female faces sculpted onto functional vessels, I bring Chinese women into the rituals of daily life. My work celebrates the beauty, resilience, and complexity of our stories.

Each piece carries traces of my own memories, culture, and lived experiences. I hope it also creates space for others to bring their own experiences to the work. Rather than creating objects to be admired from afar, I make ceramics that are meant to be held, used, and lived with.

Through these pieces, I hope to create connection, preserve memory, and share a small part of my world with you.
